Crystal Nygard, Principal Owner and Managing Director for the women owned and operated company, Right Fit International, LLC [formerly Management Recruiters International of Palmer (MRI)], has over 25 years of experience in the strategic growth of companies, specializing in increasing their bandwidth in an evolving, competitive marketplace. 

Ms. Nygard specializes in executive recruiting, business team building, and business strategy services.  She offers companies who have an ambitious growth plan, fresh leadership, or newly acquired mergers and acquisitions the focus necessary to integrate and recruit impact players with experience and knowledge.

Her experience involves over 20 years of being a business owner and working within the civil construction, environmental, finance, and automation industries worldwide.  Specifically, Ms. Nygard owned one of the very few 8(a) certified women owned and operated companies in Alaska that brought innovation and efficient operation prevention savings to government contracting.  Her unique hands-on experience and knowledge in government contracting and regulatory compliance benefits her clients. Ms. Nygard enjoys discussing with her clients the importance of building business systems and expandable tools that are critical for survival in a competitive economy.

Ms. Nygard has worn many hats over the past 25 years, including co-founder, CEO, COO, and “chief bottle washer.” Her focus was on doing whatever was necessary to answer the concerns of the client and the needs of the marketplace.  She has grown companies ranging in size from just two employees sitting in a home office to multi-million-dollar, multi-location corporations. Ms. Nygard has received recognition as a “Top 40 under 40” and was awarded Small Business of the Year and Small Minority Business of the Year by the Small Business Association (SBA).  Additionally, in her spare time, she is active in mentoring young adults in business, coaching local sports, and working with foreign exchange students coming to our communities or representing the U.S. in other countries.  Ms. Nygard served on the AIDEA (Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority) board and is very active in her community. She continues working diligently to build her international executive recruiting business, Right Fit International, using power technology and human capital, which remain the top concerns for businesses all over the world.  Her motto is, “Do today what may not be possible tomorrow and that which helps many generations to come.”

Administration and Marketing Assistant

Katrina provides virtual assistance with administrative and marketing tasks for Right Fit International. She works directly with Ms. Nygard to maintain a social media presence for the company, updates the company’s marketing materials, and helps to keep its documents up to date.  Katrina also formats and edits spreadsheets, letters, contracts and other documents; sends out correspondence; sets up virtual meetings; performs data entry; and contacts candidates to verify information and establish follow-up calls.
